Our Mission

Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church exists to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making and strengthening disciples, and demonstrating Christ's love through worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, service, and community outreach.

We are committed to creating a welcoming church family where individuals and families can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, discover their God-given purpose, and be equipped to serve others. Through faith, compassion, and responsible stewardship, we seek to address the spiritual and practical needs of our congregation and the greater Fresno community while advancing the Kingdom of God.

Our vision is to be a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and community-focused church that transforms lives, strengthens families, develops future generations of Christian leaders, and serves as a beacon of hope throughout Fresno and beyond.

We envision Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church as a place where all generations are welcomed, faith is strengthened, lives are restored, and people are empowered through the Word of God to live with purpose and serve with compassion. We strive to extend our ministry beyond the walls of the church by building meaningful relationships, responding to community needs, supporting those in need, and creating opportunities that promote spiritual growth, stronger families, and a thriving community.
